Personal Data

• Cybdyn Systems keeps a record of your purchase(s) on this site.
• All available information that we gather and store on our server (name, address, email, telephone number, etc) is what you choose to provide to us at checkout.
• We do not intercept credit card data in any way, shape or form nor do we store your card details.
• All orders are linked with a specific identification number so that we can keep a record of you in our database for future reference.
• All orders have your IP address at checkout saved. This is used to prevent spam attacks on the ordering system.
• Accounts cannot be deleted as the email address, serial number and order identification are required to transfer ownership should you decide to sell your cartridge.
• We do not sell or share any of your information to third-parties.

Security

• All passwords are encrypted and stored in a MySQL database (not able to be decoded by Cybdyn Systems nor third parties in any possible way).
• All credit card and debit card transactions are processed by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) Wordline with HTTPS (SSL) encryption.
• The checkout and payment processes always uses HTTPS (SSL).
• Our server is strictly PCI 4.0 compliant and the results may be found here.
• All payment data is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) V1.3 (which is the latest revision available) with V1.2 used as a fall back for older browsers.
• We use the latest MySQL versions and PHP versions (that are compatible with WordPress) to keep your data secured and to also keep the site running at optimal performance.
• CloudFlare has been deployed on our DNS as a means of securing our website further by utilising their additional security features and website compression techniques.
• Plugins within WordPress are updated often to avoid any potential vulnerabilities.
• All credit and debit card data that is processed is entirely encrypted from our server to ANZ and the MIGS network upon checkout.
• We use Google ReCAPTCHA V3 and hCaptcha to further protect our site from attackers.
• Extremely strong administrator passwords are used to keep your data secured which are not able to be brute-force attacked by hackers.
• We regularly check our passwords in data leak dictionary attacks, though it is extremely unlikely for them to ever show in one.

How is your information protected?

We use a dedicated hosting provider in a data center located in Sydney, Australia and all of the data is stored there. None of your data is stored offsite in other servers. We protect your information using technical and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration. Some of the technical safeguards we use are of course strong passwords, DDoS protection and firewalls. We manually verify the firewall rules ourselves to ensure there are no unknown open ports for unwanted access.

We use the latest Windows Server versions with the latest updates to both the operating system and Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL software to ensure your private data is secured in a well respected manor. All user passwords in the database are hashed as MD5 strings and are unable to be read by Cybdyn Systems.

Cookies and Tracking

This website uses cookies to store temporary data whilst you are browsing. These can be cleared by you in your browser at any time (we do not save and store them on our server). We do not use any tracking ourselves but Google ReCAPTCHA V3 may track user activity such as mouse movement as ReCAPTCHA is a means of anti-spam and robot detection to protect our website.

How do we use your information?

• We will only look up your information when we need to resolve an issue or problem with you.
• We may contact you should a user decide to transfer ownership from your account with us.
• We will never sell or share your data with other people or companies. Cybdyn Systems are the only people who have access to and can view your personal information.
• We may ask you for proof of address and/or email address ownership to verify your account should we not receive a response from your nominated email account.
• We reserve the right to block your cartridge serial number from accessing firmware downloads.
• We may use your email address to communicate with you but only when it is absolutely necessary to do so.
• We never call or text message your telephone number.

Serial Numbers

• All cartridges contain serial numbers. These are used to keep track of customer purchases for warranty and batch identification.
• Your email address, order ID and serial number are used for firmware download validation.

Ownership Transfers

• When performing a transfer of ownership, the receiving party does not have access to your information (it is kept private) and Cybdyn Systems acts as an intermediator. The only information shared during a transfer is the serial number of your cartridge.

Discord

• Each Discord OAuth2 login gives our bot access to your username, avatar, banner, email address, third-party connections and what other Discord servers you are in.
• Our bot does not see nor use third-party connections, but the permissions are required in order for our bot to connect you to our server.
• Your Discord information is securely stored in our database for connection logging only. The data included is your email address, Discord ID and guild permissions.
• We do not use your Discord information other than for tracking who is logged into our Discord server. We do not sell or share your information with third-parties.
• When you leave our Discord server, all your Discord information is retained in our database so you may join back at any time as only one account is permitted to connect.
